Chess with Death (Juliette Everhart & Christian Robinson) asks for audience suggestions of "a character flaw" and "a way someone can die". In the past they’ve examined the lives of a banker who was crushed by a vending machine, a stoner who had a piano fall on her, a sex addict who died from a finger to the brain and a slob who drowned in potato salad, among others.

They bring a UCB style game play with an emotional narrative, meaning it's theatrical, funny and like nothing else you've seen.

Chess with Death have performed in Omaha, Chicago, The Improv Festival Oklahoma (IFO4) and many times here in Kansas City while honing their skills at Second City Chicago and with coaches Dustin Drury (UCB NY) and Kevin Mullaney (UCB NY, IRC Podcast).

Chess with Death are performing Thursday, September 13, at the Kick Comedy Theater in Westport starting at 7:00pm.
